Asterix and Obelix XXL

Asterix and Obelix XXL is an arcade game based on the cult cartoon “Asterix and Obelix”. The plot is based on the original comic book series by Rene Gossing. The game takes place in Gaul in 50 BC. Today it is the territory of France, Germany and Belgium. The Romans captured Gaul, but the army of Julius Caesar failed to curb one small village of the mighty Gauls, in which the main characters live. You have to play for two main characters at the same time. Each of them has their own unique abilities. You can switch between characters at any time to perform a specific action. There are many unique regions to explore, including Greece and Egypt. The main task in Asterix and Obelix XXL is to free your friends Impedimento, Panax, Getafix and protect your village from attacks by the Romans, pirates and Vikings. To become stronger, drink magic potions that make heroes invulnerable and powerful. There are 4 game modes available: Arcade, Obstacle Course, Time Trial and Extreme. The first is a story mode in which the heroes need to liberate a village. The second asks you to collect coins as quickly as possible, while the third requires you to reach the finish line within the allotted time. Extreme Game is a higher difficulty mode in which the enemies become much stronger.
