Barotrauma

Barotrauma is a two-dimensional simulator made in the style of a platformer. According to the plot, the position of captain of a real submarine is entrusted to your brave shoulders, but you will control it not on Earth, but on one of the satellites of Jupiter called Europa, in the depths of which lies an underground ocean. The surface of the satellite is shrouded in an impenetrable radiation layer, which is why human colonies are forced to hide under a layer of ice that protects local waters. The project was initially focused on multiplayer interaction, during which each player would be assigned their own role and given their own order of completing tasks, directly depending on the profession they received. But the developers also took care of a single-player mode, in which the functions of real players will be replaced by well-functioning artificial intelligence, completely written from scratch. The game has several modes, but they all have one common goal: to survive, because the waters of the alien satellite are not only fraught with the danger of lack of oxygen, but are also favored by nightmarish monsters, whose diet does not include algae. The submarine, in addition to its main function of movement, is equipped with the ability to upgrade, from its internal components (motors, radars, etc.) to its defense capabilities, which allows you to choose the hull and install the latest weapons, and after accumulating enough currency, you can even design your own model!
