Command of the Pioneer Blade goes to the hero, and fighters have to be hired from the Black Guard. The squad consists of a dozen adventurers, each with their own skills and role. Builds are assembled freely: equipment, abilities and items are selected for specific tactics, and not for a ready-made class template. Progress is divided into stages, and without preparation for the next wave the squad will simply be demolished. Movement takes place on a three-dimensional map with a top view, and in battle characters can be placed as desired, giving orders for attack, defense, movement and spells. The crowd of opponents is growing, so positions and move order matter more than individual characteristics. Between forays, the kingdom develops: searching for artifacts in intricate caves, improving buildings and training new fighters. Part of the progress occurs in the background, so you can return to the squad without endlessly sitting in front of the screen. In addition to combat, there is craft and trade: weapons are improved, equipment is looked for in chests, and excess is sold. Some heroes join only after their personal requests are fulfilled, and additional story scenes open with them. The development of the kingdom is not limited to numbers: new buildings give bonuses to the squad and simplify supplies. Rare materials are found in dungeons and on forays, so part of the squad is constantly on the move. For those players who love tactical squads and don’t mind that part of the progress happens on its own.
