Not only the best designers and game developers of the studio worked on the development, but also fans of the series, whose opinions the developers listened to and recorded personally. In general, the studio decided to continue creating real-time strategies with an emphasis on the Middle Ages. The entire gameplay of Crusader Kings II is based on the hardcore game mode, which saw the light of day thanks to fans of the series. In the second part of Crusader Kings we are transported to the times of medieval Europe and the Middle East. We are given the choice of one of the factions (peoples and dynasties), which we must lead to victory through real-time skirmishes with enemy troops. The battles take place in real time, with a pause occurring right during the battle, during which you can decide on battle tactics (step-by-step mode woven into the process). The global scale of the strategy is impressive, as are the well-developed game mechanics. This is not surprising, because not only the creators themselves, but also the most devoted fans of the series took part in the development of the project, which is why, with such close contact, the result was a very good game that will surely appeal to all fans of historical strategy games. And also: • You can start the game at any time from 1066 to 1337; • Try to survive for the sake of the descendants of the lord who inspired trust and led the knights with just one word; • Try multiplayer mode with up to 32 players on one map!
