Eastern Era is a comprehensive martial arts school management simulator that combines elements of city building and harsh survival in a ruthless environment with an emphasis on micromanaging each ward. The process of building a shelter requires manual control, from harvesting wood from the snowy wastelands to erecting majestic eastern pavilions and defensive towers. The wards are constantly threatened not only by ferocious predators, but also by simple hunger, fatigue or sudden climate change. Proper design of storage facilities prevents provisions from spoiling, and comfortable living quarters prevent the morale of new recruits from collapsing. The development of fighters is a long process of discovering the dantian and comprehending secret internal techniques. Eastern Era's gameplay allows for radical enhancement methods, including replacing human organs with body parts from mythical creatures. Bands of trained craftsmen set out to explore the Central Plains in search of ancient manuscripts and legendary weapons. Successful raids bring rare artifacts and allow you to capture enemy headquarters and establish your own branches. Initially, the gamer takes control of the remnants of a once great clan, forced to hide from their pursuers. The ranks are replenished by recruiting talented vagabonds or townspeople. The Jianghu Global Map offers extensive political tools, from forming reliable alliances to secretly inciting internecine wars by proxy. The ultimate goal is to completely dominate the age-old factions and achieve the status of an absolute legend in the world of fighting.
