The main character, being a civil servant of the clergy, actively uses otherworldly talents to advance the investigation. The ability to enter the minds of others or have conversations with long-dead witnesses opens up innovative ways to gain information. Any decision made inevitably affects the balance of power, forcing you to maneuver between the interests of warring factions. The catalyst for large-scale events was the sudden destruction of a teahouse right in the center of the capital. The incident occurred exactly five days before the first ever democratic elections and threatened to destroy the fragile social order. The beginning of the journey turns out to be as uncomfortable as possible: the clergyman comes to his senses on the floor of the morgue among rotting apples and the living dead.
