Each team member has a gauge that is emptied when attacked and gradually fills up. After filling it out, a menu appears on the screen with a choice of actions: attack, defense, use of magic or an item. The hero has a supply of health and magic points. If the player character loses health, they fall unconscious and are temporarily out of combat; if an enemy is killed, he dies. Magic points can be spent on calling reinforcements or creating spells. For victory, experience is given that increases the characteristics of fighters. There is also a special move available in FINAL FANTASY VII called Limit Break. It can be used when the damage gauge is full. This is a strong attack that deals a lot of damage to the enemy. Initially, each hero can only use 1 type of Breakthrough; as you progress, their number increases to 7. Unlike the others, Kai Sith has two such techniques, Vincent has four. New skills give heroes clots of magical spherical energy. This affects a character's performance in various ways and can even reduce their HP. There is an achievement system, and thanks to cloud storage, the save file can be downloaded to another computer. You can store saved data on a maximum of 3 devices at the same time.
