FTL: Faster Than Light - this project is a two-dimensional simulator of a space combat ship. The creation and publication of this media product was carried out by the Subset Games studio. The official release took place in the first half of autumn 2012. The gameplay is based on the interaction of the player and the crew of the combat starship. The success of this space tactical strategy will depend on how successful this collaboration is. Don't forget about the races, of which there are 8 in the game! These are people who excel in studying specialties; Angie, who quickly repairs equipment but is completely clumsy in hand-to-hand combat; Slugs that can see right through your ships; Crystallins - the oldest, most powerful race - practically do not lose health where there is no oxygen. As the game progresses, you will be able to meet other races. Overcoming the difficulties of a key story mission, you will more than once have to choose between saving your ship and all the people on board or fearlessly engaging in battle with superior enemy forces on pain of death. Run, give up or fight to the last - these are the three roads between which you will take your turn again and again. If enemies shoot your engine, decide to supply energy to the affected area, send mechanics there, or immediately strike back: energy is always consumed unilaterally, which greatly complicates the process of passing. But at any moment you can stop time and assess your position, and then go to upgrade a separate part of the ship or base.
