Global Rescue is a large-scale crisis center management simulator in which the virtual space is formed on the basis of reliable geographic information from mapping services. The project allows you to deploy the headquarters of rescue units anywhere in the world, turning the usual streets of big cities or quiet suburbs into the player’s area of ​​responsibility. Strategic planning here is closely intertwined with the need to quickly respond to emergency situations in a living three-dimensional environment. The manager controls several large units at once, including firefighters, traffic police, paramedics and paramilitary special forces. Proper development of the base requires attention to the smallest details of the internal infrastructure: from the design of training halls and rest rooms to the installation of gas stations for the fleet. The effectiveness of emergency services in Global Rescue directly depends on the quality of training and timely improvement of technical equipment through an extensive research tree. The headquarters management process covers tasks such as: • distribution of job responsibilities between employees of various departments; • operation and visual configuration of 19 types of specialized transport; • construction of functional premises, including showers, offices and medical units; • introduction of a lending system to stabilize the financial condition of the organization; • maintaining equipment operational readiness through maintenance and cleaning. The daily work of the dispatch center is filled with more than 100 types of calls: from checking the speed limit on the roads to coordinating complex operations to capture armed criminals. Each incident develops according to an unpredictable scenario, forcing one to take into account external factors and promptly transport victims to hospitals or prisons.
