Description

Despite the fact that Hearts of Iron 4 is famous for its realism, in the new part the focus tree for individual countries and nationalities has been completely redesigned. The strategy, dedicated to the Second World War, invites you to play in countries such as Italy, Ethiopia, Spain, Japan and China. Two scenarios differing in dates: 1936 and 1939. In one you will take part in the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and the Spanish Civil War, and in the second you will see how Japan invaded China and the Second World War was fought. As you progress through the Hearts of Iron IV story campaign, you will improve individual bonuses for countries - Great Britain, France, Germany, USA, USSR, Japan and Italy. Many bonuses will be mutually exclusive, so keep a close eye on their development. Poland and Hungary were also added to the game early on, but they simply participate in wars. You can't fight for them. At the start of each campaign, you choose a side of the story. It determines all subsequent actions of your leader and the country as a whole. You can choose neutrality, fascism, communism or democracy. At the moments of your development, many countries will be able to declare war on you, but the reaction depends solely on ideology. A total strategic war is taking place not only on land, but also at sea and in the air. Remember this when a new ally suddenly turns into a member of a coalition created against you. You can lead any country, but remember that, having taken Italy, your soldiers will drown in the mud in the spring, and die from the heat in the summer; Having chosen the USSR, you will have to overcome snow, mud, bad weather and superior enemy forces. The game also proposes a truce between many countries, with the exception of Germany and all of Atlanta. The multiplayer mode supports gameplay on a server where there can be up to 32 battle participants.
