JUMP FORCE

JUMP FORCE is a fighting game where characters from different anime series meet in the arena. First of all, the player creates his own character and goes through a storyline with him: the adventure is built around a mysterious organization that gathers fighters from different worlds to organize a tournament. The fights take place in a three-on-three format, and this changes the usual logic of a fighting game: it is important not only to win the current fight, but also to change fighters in time in order to save strength for the next rounds. There are also team moves where the characters work together - such moments look like scenes from an anime and are well remembered. The arenas reflect the heroes' homeworlds: cities, ruins, scorched wastelands. Fighters have recognizable abilities, and their approach depends on this: in some places it is more profitable to keep a distance, in others it is better to go into close combat and put pressure. It is also worth noting that the squad is assembled from heroes from different series, and this opens up scope for experimentation: you can combine a character from one universe with a fighter from another and look for working combinations. There are also tasks where the conditions are set in an unusual way - for example, you need to hold a point or pass a strip without losses. Between battles, scenes are inserted that hold the thread of the plot. The plot is told from the perspective of a character created by the player, and this allows you to try the story on yourself, rather than watching famous characters from the outside. The game is designed primarily for anime fans: the plot is presented in large scenes, there is a lot of dialogue, and the characters are easy to recognize. For strict fighting game players, the balance may seem controversial, but the atmosphere and scale are at their best.
