Life is Strange: True Colors is a continuation of the original part with a girl in the lead roles. The player learns about Alex Chen, a young heroine who is hiding from all her friends and family that she is under some kind of curse. Her illness is accompanied by a supernatural ability, thanks to which she reads the strong emotions of other people and influences them with her desire. One day, brother Alex dies in an accident. A surge of strong emotions forces her to use her power to find out what really happened. Life Is Strange introduces an exciting new mystery with new characters and story. The ability to absorb and read the feelings of other beings helps the heroine in many ways, but she believes that a curse has been placed on her and wants to get rid of it. Using the ability is accompanied by multi-colored auras. She freely controls her power and achieves her goals. After coping with her feelings of grief, Chen sets out to find out what really happened to her deceased relative. As the game progresses, the gamer uncovers the dark secrets of a small town, encounters cruel people and unravels the reality of what happened.
