Motorcycle and auto racing - Midnight Club 2 - has become a cult sequel to the first part. As in its predecessor, in the second part the developers retained the arcade mode, in which the player can safely participate in races in single or multiplayer mode. The game is based on a career mode, where the player needs to gain the status of the best racer in a fictional city, simultaneously developing his qualities, purchasing new cars and upgrading them. The storyline takes place in Los Angeles, Paris and Tokyo. We can move freely around the cities, buying new cars and motorcycles, depending on the stages completed and the prestige points earned, which are given for defeated rivals. Each vehicle model has unique abilities that make it easier to navigate. In any territory there is a change of day and night, weather conditions and traffic intensity due to the change in time of day. Accordingly, during the day you will meet fewer people on the streets in the industrial area, but more in the business area. The game contains the following racing modes, which the player can go through again depending on his own desire: • Arcade. Choose a car, map, traffic intensity and overtake your rivals in the car you just purchased. Special power-ups will sometimes "levitate" on the map, giving you extra speed or protection, creating a special boost that scatters players; • If you complete all stages of the “Arcade” or “Circle” mode, then a police car of a certain city will become available to you; • Battle. There are two types: capture the flag and bomb. In the first type, you have to capture the flag and carry it to the finish line. If you collide with a rival, he will take the flag and can finish the race in the lead. Bomb is a mode in which there is no logical conclusion at the finish line. A random player receives a bomb, and the one who deals the most damage wins. If you are carrying a bomb and have not received a single point of damage, then when time runs out you will become the winner of the race.
