Graphics and physics have improved noticeably compared to previous parts of the series. Enemy AI has also received major improvements. Spectators in the stands react realistically to events, and virtual athletes behave adequately on the field. The complexity of the game adapts to the user. Moreover, this mechanic affects not only opponents, but also members of the user’s team. Well-known Western personalities Matt Vasgersian, Dan Plesac, Mike Carlucci and Mark DeRosa were invited as commentators, which only enhances the immersion. MLB: The Show 18 has several main modes: • Road to the Show – the main campaign where you need to build a baseball career; • Diamond Dynasty – a collection of star players, tied to the extraction of cards; • Franchise mode – manage a team over several seasons. In addition, you can play a regular match against a live or computer opponent. The project has a lot of content and enough variety. You can simply control baseball players, just like in other sports simulators. You can also live the life of a simple player, look at what is happening only from your own position and, together with him, go the way from getting into a serious league to leaving the sport for a well-deserved rest. The game also invites you to try on the coach's uniform and guide your players through 162 seasons.
