Morbid Metal is a slasher game with roguelight elements, the combat system of which is based on the continuous change in the appearance of the main character when exchanging blows with opponents. The process of clearing arenas requires the formation of a group of four unique fighters, whose skills smoothly merge into destructive combinations. The setting is a virtual matrix created by humanity to save us from the impending climate catastrophe. The newest artificial intelligence, controlled by a mysterious Operator, is obliged to prove its own evolutionary superiority through the total extermination of its inferior brothers. The arenas for this mission are procedurally generated zones where ancient metropolises swallowed up by flora and scorched man-made wastelands regularly occur. Any defeat leads to an inevitable restart of the current cycle, but accumulated progress is preserved thanks to the implementation of a system of permanent development. Gradually learning the mechanisms of Morbid Metal guarantees the unlocking of previously unknown cybernetic shells and constant improvements that significantly increase the chances of survival. To break the resistance of high-level bosses and successfully complete the mission, the gamer will have to: • change your chosen avatars at lightning speed to maintain intense damage; • constantly adapt to the unpredictable landscapes of changing biomes; • correctly distribute the found temporary modifiers to enhance specific characteristics; • Study in detail the complex behavior patterns of deadly mechanical guards.
