Their behavior model has been completely redesigned, and their falling animation has been improved. NHL 08's main focus is realism. The NHL 2008 developers have significantly reworked the behavior of hockey players with the puck and improved the animation of shots and passes. The penalty system has been reworked and the interaction between hockey players has been improved, including various animations of rudeness, pushing into the boards, blocking, etc. The stick controls have also been updated, plus a greater variety of control schemes have been provided. You can play alone, against artificial intelligence and with a partner, both on the same team and competing in versus mode. Graphically, the project has not undergone significant changes compared to the previous part of the simulator. Dynasty mode has received a special update.
