Outlast (+Whistleblower) is a DLC for the game of the same name, which adds more content and a new storyline. The addition contains the background to the events that occurred in the original, where Miles Upshur had to play through it. The journalist went to Mount Massive Psychiatric Hospital, where, according to information received, many violations were discovered. Here he encountered a crowd of creepy psychos - monsters who had taken over the hospital. The horror backstory comes from the name of the informant you play as. Waylon Park was an employee of the Murkoff Company. It was this corporation that secretly conducted terrible experiments on the human brain in a psychiatric hospital. By telling Miles what was happening, he set himself up to be experimented on too. Now the hero, in order to get out of the terrible place, must himself fight the monsters - victims of inhuman doctors. At the beginning of the playthrough, the player will have to run away from a psycho-cannibal dismembering people. The authors perfectly conveyed madness, fear and the desire to hide from this madness, which will steadily pursue the player. In the process, the user needs to run away from enemies, hide, jump over various obstacles and climb ventilation shafts to escape. The location has many corridors and offices with fallen furniture, boxes, beds, under which you can hide and wait. Next, Waylon accidentally meets Frank Maner, a sexual maniac, and ends up in his lair, where real hell is going on. In Outlast, screams are heard everywhere, body parts are scattered, and patients create complete chaos. Murder, dismemberment, rape, eating - this is just part of what happens here. In this version, various deviations and perversions are brought to the fore. Puck himself will also have a hard time - he will often receive fractures, get roasted in the oven and have many cuts, wounds and bruises from blows. But this is not so scary compared to what brutal psychos are capable of.
