Overlord

Overlord is a stunning simulator of a dark lord, the ruler of an army of minions, which are a kind of gremlins or goblins. This is one of the few games where players are invited to try themselves in the role of a kind of bad guy, a crusher of skulls and just an evil character who cannot be fed with bread - let him plunder another village or put an end to the newly-minted good hero. The same can be done in multiplayer mode. The release of this entertainment project occurred in mid-2007. The staff at Triumph Studios and Virtual Programming worked diligently and tirelessly on it. Visually, we have a typical action/RPG, with a third-person view. Essentially, it's a hybrid of RPG, action, and tactical strategy. In addition to the fact that on behalf of the main “hero” we will have to chop our enemies into cabbages, it will also not be superfluous to keep hordes of colorful demons in check. If they get out of your control, they can disrupt your plans. Minions are the essence of the game. There are several types of them, they differ in skills, color and appearance, as well as health scale. Before starting a new raid or mission, you will need to equip a squad of various servants, which of them will go with you this time depends on the tasks that will confront the Dark Lord. The ruler himself is distinguished by his enormous height (compared to the long-eared gnomes), dressed in metal armor and armed with a two-handed weapon (your choice: sword, ax and/or pernach). Weapons and armor will need to be upgraded to a certain level as you progress through the game for obvious reasons. The game is divided into several levels - acts. At the end of each of them there is a boss. All of them are old acquaintances of our Dark Lord. Many years ago, they were all friends, but at one point they turned away from their friend and betrayed him, leaving him to die under the rubble of the fortress of the first lord of darkness. Now the only reason he lives on Overlord is for revenge! In this he will be helped by his faithful minions and one of two (to choose from) spouses, who will influence our anti-hero for good or bad. In multiplayer you will have to fight in the "Massacre" mode. Two Overlord stand facing each other, fielding their armies of minions. In survival mode, you fight against an army of enemies. In Plunder mode, you will have to fight for the same Overlord, but your goal will be to steal the gold. The game has several multiplayer modes. Massacre mode allows two Overlord to fight each other along with hundreds of minions. In Survival mode, two Overlords fight large armies of enemies. The Heist is a competition between two Overlord teams and their henchmen to steal the most gold in a limited amount of time. The Xbox 360 version provides voice chat via Xbox Live[26]. In the PlayStation 3 version, the game features a mini-map that allows you to navigate the game world.[27]
