Quantum Break

Quantum Break is a third-person shooter with cover and time and space management from the great studio that gave the world the Max Payne series. The game takes place in 1999 in the town of Riverport. The plot will tell about the creation of a time machine by the main character's brother Will and the problems caused by this event with the integrity of our universe. During the first launch of the device, a dark figure instantly entered our time and killed Will. Beth Wilder falls into the same schism. She will tell you about the harmful effects of this invention on the future and the consequences for all living things. The main character Jack Joyce must save the world from an impending threat. Changes in matter can lead to the creation of a “Rift” and an event called “The End of Time.” This means a complete stop of everything on Earth. The antagonist will be Paul Cyrin, head of the Monarch corporation. His idea is not to prevent the "Breach", but to prepare for it. His fighters have suits that are resistant to slowdown. In terms of gameplay, in addition to the shooter mechanics, the game offers puzzle solving involving objects stuck in time to find a way through obstacles. This element of gameplay is reminiscent of platformers. Shootouts take place using 4 types of weapons (pistols, machine guns, shotguns and carbines) and Jack's special time management abilities, such as dash, chronosphere or shield. The game is divided into 5 acts, during which you will find not only cut scenes, but also TV series with live actors. It reveals plot moves and becomes a distinctive feature of the game.
