R.U.S.E. is a real-time strategy game that feels a little confusing and unclear at the beginning of the gameplay. You have to constantly build military bases and collect resources, and you have to chase money throughout the game. You can find them in warehouses, which you need to arrange yourself beforehand. After modifications with the premises, trucks begin to arrive at the base, three cars in a column, and gold bars are stored in them. Tanks and infantry disembark from ships. This is where the fun begins: while the truck reaches the specified location, along the way it can be plundered or shot down by an enemy army. To avoid this, the vehicle’s route is provided with security, and the strongest fighters are assigned to protect it. However, even before the start of the mission, it is allowed to make a surprise visit to the enemy base and avoid an unwanted skirmish. Tricks cost money and time. Great success can be achieved through intelligence. Without it, even the largest air force unit will refuse to carry out the mission at its own peril. Guaranteed victory will be ensured not by the one who has more weapons, but by the one with attentive “eyes”. The entire map is divided into separate sections where the “trick” function is available. You can install a gadget that intercepts enemy signals, or create an artificial army of helicopters and tanks out of cardboard. Having simulated an attack, you manage to go around the flank on the other side and attack for real. For those who love military tricks, this game is suitable.
