During this time, Capcom managed to radically rethink the series and enrich it with various innovations both in plot and gameplay, since progress does not stand still. If Resident Evil 2 in 2019 offered the player a slower and more intense gameplay, saturated with horror, then the new product in 2020 looks a little different. The game is more focused on action, shooting and battles with Nemesis, and not on puzzles, thoughtful exploration of locations and horror. Horror in Resident Evil 3: Remake became not the basis of the game, but its secondary component. The plot of the 2020 Resident Evil 3 demo remake is as close as possible to the original 30 years ago. The main role, as before, is played by the famous Jill Valentine, a former employee of the special forces S.T.A.R.S. The protagonist finds herself in Raccoon City during a pandemic of a virus that turns people into the walking living dead - into zombies, among which there are dangerous mutants, unlike anything else, and aggressive infected dogs. However, all opponents are not as scary and dangerous as Nemesis (aka Nemesis) is a particularly tenacious mutant capable of using weapons and obeying commands. The order given to him was simple - to destroy everyone who managed to leave that damned mansion from the first part, in which it all began. In addition to Jill Valentine and Nemesis, in Resident Evil 3: Remake 2020 the player will meet other well-known characters: the seasoned warrior Mikhail, the cynical and self-centered Nikolai, as well as the kind-hearted and simply warm-hearted guy Carlos. By the way, the player will control Carlos for a good third of the entire passage.
