Risen 2: Dark Waters

Risen 2: Dark Waters from the German studio Piranha Bytes, originally from Dusseldorf, is a continuation of the first part of Risen, in which players, on behalf of the main character, had the opportunity to crush the fiery titan and stop the Inquisition on an island lost in the endless ocean. But this was not enough. The ancient forces of the elements - the titans - have awakened. They caused serious damage to many other islands, causing communication between them to be lost. The main character, who does not have a name (as the creators have done since the days of the cult “Gothic”), sees all this chaos and madness and starts drinking. The daughter of a pirate ship captain saves him from drinking. Her father knows how to stop the cataclysm that has occurred. But you have to be careful - all sorts of monsters have awakened in the sea and attack ships without hesitation. The nameless hero has changed in appearance: he grew long hair and lost one eye. He is not at all the same as he was before. Now he is a robber broken by life, but not devoid of nobility, courage and honor. In the first part, he was more naive and in spirit more like a knight without fear and reproach. But the realization that he failed to prevent the coming of evil broke him from the inside. The spiritual successor of Gothic and the successor of its traditions will win the hearts of all fans of games from the Piranha Bytes company. This time the game moved away from the style of medieval “land” action towards action in the seas, ships, boarding ships and pirates. Whether she has changed for the better or gained prospects for success is up to you to decide.
