The plot tells us how many criminals united and killed, divided the loot, and after that one of the leaders, analogue of 246 in the Triad, decided to create his own association and seize power. All the police and every military man in Steelport were bribed and put on a sharp financial needle. We have to not only beat the crap out of the criminals, but also return the city to its former freedom, which no one knows about. The heroes' abilities remained at the same level of pumping - we also get points for completing tasks, we also pump up heroes, make weapons or buy them in stores. The map remained open, but the scale increased. Saints Row: The Third has become an age-restricted game as we defeat a gang of Mexican dancers with a rubber sex toy, drop a tank on a gang of dancers and call in air support. There are several dozen key characters in Saints Row 3, some of them are leaders of criminal gangs. Once the Boss decided to spark a war between the factions, the remaining gangs arrived in Steelport, deciding that they could seize power in the city. We will have to fight everyone. The game has positive and negative endings.
