The body is modeled in detail: nutrition, vitamins, weight, metabolism and even the digestion process are taken into account by the system. Weather, illness, and injuries require attention, and first aid kits don't solve everything right away. Loot is scattered throughout military installations and camps, and rare items drop in the most dangerous places. Players are divided into singles, groups and bounty hunters, and encountering any of the categories promises surprises. Equipment is obtained from buildings and from enemies, but weapons and vehicles are rare. Players form groups or hunt each other, and both options are equally dangerous. The updates added mechanisms, zones and vehicles, as well as survival balance adjustments. Players gather factions and bases, and trading with other survivors has long become a separate part of the game. The developers regularly adjust the balance and add content based on feedback, which is why the project has changed noticeably since release.
