In Songs of Syx, the gameplay is affected by the change of day and night, weather and seasons. It is necessary to prepare for winter in advance. Climate change is forcing people and animals to migrate. Various events can occur in a fantasy world: epidemics, droughts, famines, uprisings, pirate invasions, bandit attacks. The economic strategy has procedural generation. In addition to people, the continent is inhabited by representatives of other races. You can play for them too. In addition to our kingdom, there are other countries on the map. Each ruler needs to develop agriculture, take care of people, produce goods, extract resources, trade, engage in the army, if necessary, fight with neighbors, acquire allies and vassals. Up to 40,000 units (20,000 soldiers on each side) can participate in battles. The outcome of the battle is influenced by tactics and the general morale of the troops. Each person presented here is an individual with their own problems. Any resident can be monitored. All sorts of stories happen to them too. For example, a hunter can be killed by a wolf, and a lumberjack can be crushed by a log. When the population grows significantly, it will be possible to control social groups rather than specific people. There is nobility here too. The game allows you to make your charges nobles or invite foreigners to your service. Some persons of noble blood are capable of betraying or trying to usurp power.
