The plot takes place in New York, where a new villain has appeared - Doctor Octavius. He implanted metal tentacles into his body. They are controlled using muscles and the power of thought. A criminal is planning to take over the entire city by creating a large army of robots. The gamer takes on the role of Peter Parker - Spider-Man. He works in one of the newspapers and writes unique articles, and in his free time he goes on exploits. The campaign is divided into two parts. In one you will be a simple editor, you will go to school, spend time with your family and earn money for your work. In the second, the main character dresses up in a hero's costume and sets off on exploits, receiving numerous tasks. Throughout the gameplay of Spider-Man 2 The Game, you can use various Spider-Man moves: • Wall Run - helps you overcome obstacles and attack in the air. • Spider sensors - create a slowdown in the world, giving the hero greater speed. • Radar - enlarges the image, allowing you to see everything that is happening at the locations. • In addition to the main story campaign, it is possible to move freely around the world. You can independently find criminals and neutralize them without receiving missions. Not only will the main antagonist make attempts on the city, but other sworn enemies may also appear: Mysterio, Rhino, Sandman and just ordinary genetically modified monsters.
