The Sports Champions 2 offers six disciplines, all of which are designed for motion controllers. The list includes boxing, golf, bowling, skiing, tennis and archery - a set where each activity requires its own technique, and not a general reaction. The main pride of the project is that the mechanics do not copy each other. The swing for a bowling shot must be structured differently than the swing with a stick, and the bow requires maintaining tension and taking into account the wind. Skiing turns into legwork and body work, and in the ring the angle and timing of the strike are considered. In addition to single competitions, there is a party for several people: short games, simple rules and an overall standings, where the important thing is not so much skill as the ability not to embarrass yourself in front of friends. The settings make it easier to manage if someone in the company is playing for the first time. It is also worth noting that medals of various denominations are awarded for success, and the opening competitions gradually raise the bar. It is possible to play together on one screen, which is especially good for boxing and archery, where it is important not to interfere with each other. Some disciplines are also useful just as a warm-up: bowling and skiing are quickly understood even by a beginner. There is also a table of records for each discipline, which makes you excited to improve your own result by at least one point. There isn't much depth or long-term goals here, but it's enough for its genre. The Sports Champions 2 works well as an excuse to move around together: the game clearly explains what is required of you and leaves you with a pleasant feeling that the movements were real.
