The gameplay allows you to tackle The Ascent alone or enlist the help of up to four friends. The allies, like the main character, found themselves without work on the streets of the city of Veles. The collapse of the company occurred at the most inopportune moment. During the mission, a disaster occurs that deprives all connections and financial sources. Competitors immediately try to occupy a niche, and various groups take root on the black market. It is necessary to figure out what happened and who is behind this mysterious case. As you make your way through the slums and elite residential complexes of the cyberpunk city, you will meet NPCs along the way who want to help, but most of them only want you dead. When enemies die, they leave behind valuable loot. There are many ways to level up and develop in The Ascent. You can improve your body by inserting various modifications that will unlock new abilities. A wide arsenal of weapons is presented, where everyone can choose a pistol to suit their taste and playing style. The gameplay makes it possible to become a real cybermaniac, pumping up absolutely every part of your body.
