The cursed place, where an entire civilization once disappeared, does not let anyone go. The characters are not divided into positive and negative: everyone solves the problem in their own way and makes mistakes. The game is made like an interactive movie: scenes, dialogues and decisions that influence the fate of the characters. Companions can be lost because of a wrong move, and this feels like a real loss. Between chapters they show a map with routes and finds, and from these records you can see what was discovered. Some of the decisions affect who will survive to the end, and there is no way to go back. A considerable part of the tension is based on the darkness: as soon as you get distracted, someone is already breathing nearby. Battles are mainly based on light: creatures from the dark are afraid of lanterns and ultraviolet radiation, so lamps and charges have to be saved. At the same time, shooting at creatures is useless without the right weapon. Some of the finds explain what happened here long before people appeared. You can also go through the story in a group: there are modes for two players, where decisions are made together, and for several participants, where everyone follows their own heroes. Because of this, the same episode occurs differently for different people. The passage is designed to last several hours, and for the sake of other forks in the story I want to repeat it. Dungeons are dangerous in themselves: passages collapse there and collapses occur. Anyone who likes horror with choice and doesn't mind keeping the lights on.
