The Last Caretaker - the planet is flooded, humanity has almost disappeared, and the only one who is still able to change something is a robot who woke up in the middle of rusty towers. His mechanical shoulders bear the responsibility of taking care of the last human seeds, which are stored in the Lazarus complex. The work ahead is painstaking. Incubation must be constantly monitored: maintain the temperature, supply nutrients, monitor the integration of memory data - the slightest failure jeopardizes the entire mission. There will be a lot of failures, and there will be almost no clues about what went wrong. Radiation and water limit the routes, so part of the territory is opened only after installing filters and generators. Resources are extracted from the remains of the previous civilization. Dismantling the wreckage yields metal and parts that can be used to assemble tools, weapons, and complex power systems. Laying cables and supplying power to ancient machines are mandatory tasks; without them, you cannot open locked doors or move further along the route. The danger here also has to be taken into account: hostile mechanisms are not happy with the guest and attack at the first opportunity. In battles, what you find and assemble with your own hands helps out, so before going out it’s worth checking your equipment and supplies. The map is gradually covered with markers: you cannot pass by the warehouse where the necessary parts are located, and past the generator, which again requires attention. Some structures are so tall that climbing them becomes a separate task, testing your energy reserves. The atmosphere of loneliness here works better than any monster. Anyone who is ready to tinker with wires and mechanisms in order to save the last thing left of people.
