The Shimmering Horizon and Cursed Blacksmith tells the story of a hero who searched for himself for quite a long time and tried to penetrate the depths of his memory to find answers to many questions. Finding himself in a completely unknown world, he meets an unknown girl who becomes his companion and helps him understand what is happening. From this moment the main part of the story begins, full of hours of travel. The gameplay in The Shimmering Horizon and Cursed Blacksmith is quite simple and does not contain complex mechanics. The character moves through the resulting locations, dealing with opponents and trying to get to the transition point. This world is quite dangerous, because hostile creatures of unknown origin wait at every corner. Luckily, the system gives players plenty of options to deal with them. For example, the crafting option allows you to improve ready-made ones or create new blades with magical properties from scratch. Depending on what support material the gamer has chosen, you can open access to special types of attacks. This can be a lunge along a given trajectory or the release of a fireball that deals damage in an area. Moreover, each of the 20 types of enemies has an innate degree of protection from certain elements, which forces gamers to constantly change their battle plan. Don't forget about random items that are generated in locations and provide temporary boosts.
