The Waylanders

The Waylanders is a role-playing game about Celtic culture. The story begins with the tribal people meeting gods such as the Tuatha Dé Danann. But instead of ascension and enlightenment, death follows, resulting in a rupture in the flow of time. Black magic begins to envelop the land, and the entire Celtic culture is on the verge of extinction. If she dies, it threatens not only mortals, but also immortal beings. Everyone is under threat: druids, werewolves, goblins and monsters. The game offers a choice of two sides: a young but legitimate heir to the throne or an experienced and pragmatic military leader. As you progress through the storyline, you will repeatedly have to make a choice on which side to take, with whom to form an alliance, with whom to build a romantic relationship and with whom to help in adventures. Gameplay Features: • intense gameplay based on time travel; • multiple endings depending on the playing style; • combat is based on the formation of squads, providing many tactical options; • the opportunity to take party members on an adventure; • 6 regular classes and 30 additional ones, represented by 5 races. The main feature of the game is a journey between medieval Spain and the Celtic era. The plot will take you through Christian Galicia and show many mystical and divine things. The Waylanders's story explores themes of witchcraft, immortality, reincarnation, etc. The gameplay is inspired by classic role-playing games such as Dragon Age: Origins and Baldur's Gate.
