Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a remake of the first game about Lara, developed with new graphics, a slightly expanded plot and additional abilities of the main character. The plot begins with the fact that we are in India, in the city of Calcutta. It's the 20th century - 1996. The main character meets an acquaintance who immediately introduces the heroine to his boss Natla Jacqueline. She is the head of Natla Technologies. The chapter invites our heroine to find an item called “Legacy of Atlantis” in Peru. Lara, without hesitation, agrees, because Jacqueline says that the subject will help in grandiose scientific research. Shooters, exploration, and adventure are the essence of Lara Croft games, and this game is no exception. First we dive into Peru, where we find a gorge with dinosaurs and tyrannosaurs, after we find the first part of the legacy, we go to Greece, after that to Egypt and finally to Atlantis. Additions in the remake: Croft herself takes aim at enemies - you only need to press a button (the function can be disabled); a time slowdown mode has appeared - Quick Time Events. With it, you can stop enemy attacks, freeze time, aim, set the interval of shots and keep the upper hand in a firefight. Can be used less often. Depends on reload. Adrenaline Dodge also appeared - a jumping dodge, after which Lara rises and shoots directly at the enemy's head. Used against strong opponents. The ability is destructive. Lara can also run on walls, move quickly using ropes or vines, and use various ledges to quickly move across ceilings.
