Under the Sand REDUX - a road trip game is an adventure game in which the player is asked to travel around the world by car. The universe around the main character experienced a terrible apocalypse, turning into a desert. Graphically, the project is made using low-detail textures to create your own style. Locations where the gamer is present are created randomly thanks to the use of artificial intelligence in the process of generating territories, which is responsible for randomizing the environment. The time period used by the authors of this indie game is the early 80s of the last century, which is expressed in the vehicle of the nameless protagonist, destroyed architecture and music cassettes added to the project for collecting and further listening in the car. Due to global warming, which almost completely killed humanity and all its developments throughout evolution, most places have turned into lifeless deserts with huge sand dunes. The gameplay consists of a constant search for interesting locations containing some secrets, as well as improvements to the old pickup truck owned by the main character. The goal of the protagonist’s journey is to fulfill the last wish of the virtual protégé’s father.
