Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is rightfully considered one of the best computer role-playing games. In various tops, it always takes one of the leading positions, along with such pillars of the genre as Baldur’s Gate 2, Fallout 2 and others. And to this day it is not going to give up its position, because many loyal fans still play it, although the graphics in it are long outdated. The main quality of a good role-playing game is not the graphic design, not beautifully choreographed battles, but the deep plot and attractive atmosphere that this game is rich in. The development was carried out by the famous studio Troika Games. The official release took place in the summer of 2004 on the initiative of the famous Activision. The plot of the game revolves around the relationships between various clans of vampires in the city of Los Angeles. Our hero is a convert who, by the will of fate, gets into trouble with an ancient sarcophagus, which is being hunted by representatives of the most influential vampire organizations. First of all, the player is asked to decide on a clan, class and appearance, after which he goes to get acquainted with the local world and the rules by which he lives. The developed role-playing system is replete with all kinds of skills for subsequent leveling up of skills, and such branched dialogues and deep characters are not found even in luxurious, expensive films, not to mention competitors in the genre. The combat system in the game is quite simple, but it cannot be called flawed, created just for show. It is immediately noticeable that the formula with which the developers approached the creation of the game worked and in the end they managed to create something amazing.
