Wasteland 3 is an adventure in the role-playing game genre, a direct continuation of the second part, released in 2014. One of the main developers is Brian Fargo, who worked on the first two parts of the Fallout series. Many mechanics are similar to these games. The setting of the story in Wasteland 3 is Colorado. It survived the apocalypse after a conflict that engulfed almost the entire world, and is now in decline. Very sparsely populated due to declining population and general poor suitability for a functioning society. After all, the lands are heavily affected by radiation and the harvest is very poor, plus the fruits have an off-scale level of contamination. The initial time of the gameplay will be nuclear winter with all the ensuing consequences. But no one will stop you from terrorizing the remaining residents of Colorado and becoming a terrible tyrant. Each quest is not linear; further development of the plot depends on your choice. Gradually acquiring supplies and everything you need, your main character, whom you create yourself, will be able to assemble a squad of 6 rangers. In a squad, it will be much easier to resist the post-apocalyptic fauna in turn-based combat. Using a system of perks and abilities, you can customize fighters to suit any fighting style. The game features vehicles for covering long distances, as well as co-op for two, allowing you to unite your groups into a more powerful mini-army.
