In Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD, the player takes on the role of Avelina de Ganpre, a black New Orleans resident who decides to fight for freedom and justice in the ranks of the Assassins. Unlike previous characters in the series, the heroine is in no way related to Desmond Miles. The story takes place between 1765 and 1780, during the industrial revolution of North America. Gundpre spends the lion's share of his time in New Orleans and surrounding areas of Louisiana. During her adventures, she also meets Connor Kenway, the main character of the third part. Traditionally, it is based on free exploration of open spaces, the ability to climb all kinds of buildings and complete missions. They usually consist of murder, spying, theft and similar activities. Avelina copes well with fighting several enemies at the same time, skillfully using various types of weapons. This episode uses some innovations compared to previous parts of the series - camouflage to confuse opponents. The gameplay has been improved compared to the original. The visual component of the game has also been improved, using the AnvilNext engine. To transfer the project to monitors and TV screens, it was necessary to adjust the image to a higher resolution, adding graphic effects, objects and textures. In addition, a dynamic day and night cycle was introduced, and the characters received high-quality models and facial expressions. It is also worth noting the musical design. Iconic compositions will rhythmically merge with the ongoing process.
