Baba Is You

Baba Is You is a game in the popular puzzle genre. Developed by indie programmer Hempuli Oi, the project uses pixel graphics and a high-mounted camera to create greater visibility around the protagonist for faster response to changes. The single-player campaign is divided into 200 individual levels of increasing difficulty, presenting much more difficult puzzles on the way to the final scene and using new mechanics. The gameplay is based on the fact that the gamer has the ability to control and interact in every possible way with the blocks that make up each location where the main character is located. By moving walls, obstacles, and other tangible pixels, the player changes the original rules set by the creator and unlocks the non-linear progression of each challenge. The visual design of the project is made in a minimalist style, the backgrounds are monochromatic, repeating the color scheme of the territories themselves in the foreground. Important and necessary information for finding solutions to puzzles is located in the corners of the screen. This was done so as not to distract from the gameplay.
