Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition

An isometric role-playing game space - Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition - was developed immediately after the creation of the first part. We are given a squad of 6 characters, where one of them is the main character of the last series of the game, and we create it ourselves at the beginning. The main villain of the game is the sorcerer. He constantly makes plans to capture the city, its surroundings, and later the country. His name is John Irenicus. The game takes place in the fictional country of Amn. The main city is Atcatl. We will explore the surrounding area and the territory of the settlement itself, and then delve into the caves. The player runs on the heels of the villain, who is hiding behind a thickness of monsters who are his minions. The plot is built around the phenomenal plans of the antagonist, and we are trying to stop these plans. As the story progresses, new items will be created in the surrounding area, and we, having collected them, prepare for the main expedition of Baldur's Gate - the dungeons. The developers of Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition used the Infinity Engine. The controls are similar to the first part, but now we can give each character a separate task, or we can select him and send him to do something on the territory. The game also has a tactical pause mode. The half-orc race was added to the game and a new class system was implemented. For example, a simple ranger can become a ranger or an archer, realizing the potential of the class with weapons. The three new classes - barbarian, monk and sorcerer - are respectively divided into subclasses that have both disadvantages and advantages. A huge number of new enemies, modernized graphics, an improved class system, drops, loot, crafting, a spell learning system - everything has undergone global changes. It's no wonder they spent 15 years developing the game. All seven chapters can be completed with friends in co-op mode for 2–6 players. Also, the “fortress” system for each class has finally been thought out. In addition to the main storyline - 50 hours, and many side quests - 100 hours, the game content has spread to the entire line of races and classes, which will take 200 hours to study with all the quests and storyline. For each class, a “special task” is provided, upon completion of which he receives a fortress - a place to rest and store things.
