Blair Witch

Blair Witch is a first-person horror game based on the universe created in the last century based on the film of the same name. The game is a direct continuation of the first film, released in 1999. The story campaign starts in 1996, a couple of years after the events that took place on the big screen. The focus is on the familiar forest of the Black Hills, near the town of Burkittsville, located in Maryland, USA. In its endless expanses, a little boy is lost, whose name is not revealed at first. In addition to the American police, the main character named Ellis, a former police officer who is familiar with the participants in the search operation through his service at the police station, also joins the investigation. The investigation, which at first glance seems ordinary for experienced cops and the main character, will turn into a nightmare with memory lapses, strange events and rustling noises behind. The total darkness that has set in does not help the general grief. And Ellis is very weak under stress because of his difficult past, which forced him to leave the service of his native government. The characters are confronted by Blair Witch herself, who settled in this forest a long time ago and ruined many lives. This seriously affects the psyche of police officers and kills many of them. But Ellis manages to survive and remain sane thanks to his dog. If he moves away from the owner or disappears from sight, the main character panics, as he is afraid to be left alone. He also has a walkie-talkie and a flashlight to keep him sane. The gameplay consists of searching for clues that will help find the boy, rescuing him and interacting with the dog. This may or may not bring anything useful. The reasons for the events taking place in the forest will gradually be revealed through video recordings available for viewing through a camera that can rewind time for whatever it is aimed at.
