For fans of arcade racing, the iconic Blur is an excellent option, filled with the spirit of competition and atmospheric neon lighting. The plot of the races is simple and is told through reading various letters and posts on fictional social networks. To complete the main campaign, the user must fight 9 bosses - Shannon, Hana, Versweaver, Drake, Natalia, Claw, Ayumi and Harumi, Butcher and Unknown Enemy. Each of them opens when special conditions are met (collecting a certain number of power-ups, gaining popularity, completing difficult routes, etc.). In total, several single-player modes are available during the passage: • “Race” - a standard battle for the championship; • “Destruction” - time-limited shooting of enemy equipment to gain the required number of points; • "One on one" - battle with the boss. The arcade gameplay is divided into two parts - driving and shooting at enemies. Each car has a health bar consisting of 5 parts - if it is completely lost, the driver will lose the match, regardless of position. During matches, the user can also select various modifiers: • “Protection” – creates a dome shield around the car; • “Repair” – restores the health of the car; • “Firing mode” - gives the driver 3 rounds of ammunition for combat; • “Mine” – leaves an explosive device behind the participant; • “Rocket” - releases a homing energy ball at the nearest enemy; • “Lightning” - creates electric poles in front of the leading racer; • “Acceleration” – increases speed; • “Wave Strike” - generates an energy wave that knocks opponents down. Blur presents many real-life licensed cars (BMW, Ford, Dodge) and dozens of powerful sports cars. Auto racing also features several multiplayer modes - 20-player racing, 4-player split-screen, team battles, and custom matches.
