Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 is an arcade racing game. A sequel to the beloved first Hot Pursuit, the focus remains on the police and their efforts to curb street racers. The graphics and artificial intelligence have become noticeably better than in the original. 7 racing modes available: • Fast race - rely completely on chance, everything is selected automatically, completion gives an increased number of NFS points, for which you can unlock new cars • Pursuit race - a tournament during which the cops will be on your tail. • Championship – confrontations in several rounds, but without the participation of law enforcement officers. • Single competitions – the most flexible setting will allow you to customize everything for yourself, from the class of cars to the time of day. • Network play – create a lobby for battles over the network or the Internet. • Play as a policeman - feel like a brutal street guard and catch illegal racers, you can call for help from a helicopter, barriers or AI partners • Free Ride: Explore terrain or difficult turns. The fleet has become much larger, now there are 33 sports cars, 10 of which are for cops. This will add much more variety than the original. One of the mechanics that makes life difficult for gamers is the ability to blow out the tires. The cops will take full advantage of this by throwing spikes on the road. Even if you lose one of the 4 wheels, your sports car will not go further and you will be easily detained. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 has 12 competitive tracks, with several variations for each one presented, such as racing one way first and then racing the other way.
