Daymare: 1998

Daymare: 1998 is a third-person horror game, the spiritual successor to the legendary Resident Evil series. Events take place in a secret laboratory where a dangerous biological weapon has escaped. A cleanup team is sent to investigate the case and will have to face the horrific consequences of the disaster. The player will control one of the members of the elite H.A.D.E.S. fighters. nicknamed Leo, the pilot Raven and the forester Samuel, who found themselves in a series of tragic events when the civilians of a small town turned into the living dead, thirsty for blood. Now you need to cope not only with the biological threat, but also to understand this incident: look for clues and evidence against those involved in this incident. The plot is built in the best traditions of old-school horror films and action films of category B. The game will offer: • look at the story from different angles and find out the individual point of view of the main characters; • see meat and detailed dismemberment; • solve puzzles and riddles to further advance; • classic Survival Horror: limited ammunition, strong enemies, save points, etc.; • feel the atmosphere and spirit of the 90s: screams, voices behind the wall, steps in an empty corridor, breathing behind your back and various horrors that keep you on edge. Daymare: 1998 is based on the classic Residents mechanics: we spend ammunition wisely, because the swinging walking corpse makes a valuable cartridge fly past its head, we collect artifacts, notes and various keys to solve quests, we retreat tactically and try to survive in this nightmare.
