DEAD OR SCHOOL is a 2.5D slasher game with elements of a role-playing adventure with a side view and an emphasis on the action component. A big aspect of the game is leveling up, with huge skill trees allowing you to create different builds and customizations to suit your own playstyle. The main character of the story will be a young girl named Hisako, who grew up in the dungeons of Tokyo and did not see the light on the surface due to the fact that the metropolis was captured by terrible mutants with steel bodies, huge and durable, who enslaved all living things. All her life, the main character honed her agility and athletic abilities, because she was bored underground and found solace in sports. One day, Grandma told Hisako how she went to school and had a good time there. Now the young girl also wants to feel like a student, so she begins her journey to the surface to fulfill her dream. The action will take place in various areas of the giant city of Tokyo - Shinjuku, Asakusa, Roppongi and Akihabara. There will be many monsters in the locations; You need to fight them with weapons, which you need to constantly improve and find stronger ones by exploring locations. You will have to move along them using parkour skills, jumping on metal ledges, rolls and other acrobatics. Moving through the territories, Hisako will meet new friendly characters. By following their instructions, you can receive collectible cards that increase certain characteristics and gain experience for leveling up. The damage system is made using the girl's torn clothes, which attacks more violently when some pieces of clothing are lost.
