The huge, free and open world of Magalan contains a small dark substance that turns people into super beings. ELEX perfectly shows moral dilemmas, open locations in which a person will do only what he pleases, as well as the war of factions and various creatures who want to seize this substance. A valuable resource turns an ordinary person into a monster, subject only to the laws of logic and the principles of rationality. According to the plot, the world has already seen what this substance does to people, so all the characters in the game world wanted to master the resource, start extracting it and take over the world. ELEX is a third-person shooter, slasher game in a world so huge that we are given the opportunity to move not only on two legs, but also to use a jetpack to move vertically across open lands. The developers have depicted in front of us a world of the near future, where people still wear armor, because this is the only way to escape from the creatures around us. In our hands we will see a sword or an ax, which corresponds to the old developments of the studio, because the game was created by the developers of the legendary Gothic! Monsters inhabit the entire territory of the map, and only a few free settlements fight for factional influence in this internecine situation where everyone becomes an enemy. Although the sword and ax are the most useful weapons for destroying monsters, the third-person world offers blasters that can also be upgraded. The RPG content of the project is the modernization of weapons, characters, their combat qualities and passive skills. 4 huge regions, where 3 have factions that we can join, and a meteorite fell on the 4th location, which is capable of launching a machine with the ability to extract oil.
