In Fallout 2, it became possible to move around the global map not only on foot, but also by car. To receive the vehicle, you must complete a special order. The vehicle has a trunk that allows you to store items from your inventory. While traveling between cities, the user can encounter random events and discover new attractions. It is possible to hire companions. You cannot give them orders directly - only set the desired behavior. They, like your character, can be equipped with weapons, armor and first aid kits. The hero runs around the location in real time. Battles take place in a step-by-step mode. Action points are spent on moving, striking, reloading and changing weapons. You can target creatures in specific body parts (head, limbs, torso, groin) with different hit rates. The fighting here is brutal and bloody. Dismemberment occurs. A flexible character editor allows you to customize your protégé to suit different playstyles. The project can be completed in either 40 minutes or 100 hours in various ways: from the destruction of all living things to chatter and stealth. The game allows you to become a sheriff, a robber, a slave trader, a merchant, a member of the mafia, an underground boxer, a mercenary guarding caravans, an actor in adult films, an ordinary alcoholic or drug addict and much more. Thanks to the karma system, the main character will face the consequences of his choices.
