FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water is a special part dedicated to the original games in the series, creating an emphasis on classic mechanics and immersion in the world of horror. You have to go on an adventure into a frightening world filled with creepy creatures that add a gloomy atmosphere to everything that happens on the screen. The user will control each of the three available characters in turn, revealing intertwining stories where they have to understand the intricate twists and turns of the plot. The storyline in Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water revolves around the sacred Mount Hikami. In ancient times, strange religious cults worshiped water there, which caused strange events to occur that alarmed ordinary people. Many of those who tried to explore the secrets of the mountainous area ended up dying, so no one wants to go there anymore. Three characters will study unusual phenomena and decide to conduct tests and discover the secrets hidden within. Yuri Kozukata, Myu Hinasaki and Ren Hojo are sent to investigate. The player can equip a special camera that uses a flash to ward off ghosts and gives them time to act. You have to run away from enemies, trying to find out the reasons for the crazy events taking place, making your way deeper into the epicenter of the problems. The main task is to find clues to eliminate the problem and scare away evil spirits.
