Gears Tactics is a turn-based tactics game set in a familiar universe where the squad operates against monsters. Before the mission, the squad is equipped, and the equipment is distributed among the roles. Replenishment of the squad is limited, so the lost fighter is felt acutely. Levels differ in their situation, so one tactic does not work everywhere. Some episodes end with defenses, where cover and orders are important. During missions, you encounter rare opponents, and defeating them gives you upgrades. Weapons and armor require resources, and you have to find them throughout the campaign. Orders are executed instantly, allowing you to quickly change plans. Difficulty levels affect how difficult the fights will be. Some maps are more spacious than others, and equipment will be useful there for quickly moving the squad. For those who love tactical analysis and a familiar dark universe, the game is suitable.
