Gears Tactics

Gears Tactics is a tactical strategy game set in a familiar universe. The spin-off will expand the lore and add many new characters to the world's history. The game focuses on a quality story and the people involved in it. Combat is lightning fast and exciting in the way turn-based strategy games can be. The plot takes you back to the time of the fight against the Locust horde, to the very beginning of the confrontation on the planet Sera, 12 years before the events shown in the first part. If you are not familiar with the Gears series, this will not be a problem, the plot is presented through cutscenes in a way that everyone will understand. You will play as Gabe Diaz, piece by piece assembling his squad in different cities that are under attack by a hitherto unknown enemy. The purpose of the created squad is to track down and kill the evil genius Yukkon. He is a genetic engineer creating more and more creatures to enslave the human race. He is the father of the big bosses you will need to defeat as the game progresses: River, Brumak and Trupser. Join your squad with characters with their own backstory and motivations for joining your squad: Major Sid Redburn, Augusto Cole or Engineer Mikayla Dorn. There is also a class system. Combine heavy infantry, scouts, snipers, vanguards and support warriors with your commander and create an invincible military force. Each member of your team can be upgraded, equipped with new armor and customized to your liking. During a turn, each fighter must perform three actions: move, attack, and activate skills. All this can be done one at a time, without waiting for the next round. Among the innovations in the genre, we can note the observation function - the hero will inspect the territory in his line of sight and open fire when he notices danger. Or the opportunity to execute a wounded Locust in close combat and thereby return the right of movement to the entire squad. The ability to conduct each battle in a wide variety of ways gives Gears Tactics room to replay, and eye-catching animations and effects will draw you into the gameplay.
