DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT is the final version of Hideo Kojima's game, where the story begins with the question of the survival of humanity and its struggle against an enemy superior to humans in all respects. Travel requires equipment: boots, ladders, ropes and containers - and that's just the beginning of the list. The luggage is distributed along the back so that the center of gravity allows you to stay on the slope. The main character Sam is engaged in delivering goods through a destroyed world, and traveling becomes a separate challenge. The territory must be traversed on foot, bridges, stairs and shelters must be built, and the weather and terrain interfere with every step. The connection with other players is felt through the buildings and clues left behind: someone else’s ladder can help out at the most necessary moment. Every building is aging and requires repairs. Technology plays against people: drones, the rain of time and creatures that are best avoided. Between tasks, the mystery of the Network and the hero’s past is revealed, and the scenes are presented in long, staged episodes. Some routes end with showdowns with people who have their own views on the future of the world. Musical inserts are included at key moments and are remembered separately. The Director's Cut edition adds new routes, a race track, a cargo catapult and additional missions, as well as improvements for new platforms. Music and views remain the project's strong point. The publication added weapons against creatures, support for allied drones and new scenes. Anyone who loves slow roads and big stories will find this delivery suitable. Reviews of the project varied, but almost everyone praised it for its originality and courage.
