The Waddle Dees have disappeared somewhere, and their search becomes the basis of the adventure. The hero's abilities can be combined with surrounding objects, which opens up additional paths. The pink creature can suck up objects and copy the properties of enemies. Ranger mode turns the hero into a shooter, Drill allows you to drill the ground, there are other abilities that you have to choose for a specific location. Collectible figurines and timed tasks add reasons to replay the level. The levels are played from a third person perspective and are not limited to running: in some places the hero drives a car, dodges vehicles and solves small problems. Along the way, you come across collectibles and vending machines that are nice to find for the sake of the collection. The levels are divided into short stages with bonuses, and it is convenient to complete them one at a time. The enemies here are selected according to their strength, so there is nowhere to get stuck for long, and after each major battle the hero gains new skills. You can play with two people: the second participant takes on the role of the spearman Bandana Waddle Dee and helps in battle. In addition to the plot, there is a separate mode with challenges, where the hero covers the infrastructure. The music and bright palette make even the ruins feel cozy, and the local enemies look more funny than scary. The controls are simple, so it’s interesting to play for both children and adults in a group. Anyone who wants to go through a good adventure arcade game in company and not think about difficulty.
